My name is Matabishi Bashimbe Timothee. I was born in 1982 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in the province of Southern Kivu, Luvungi (Itara). I am fruitfully married with 10 children. I was saved only by the grace of God. All of my heart and goodness and good works are divine gifts. I am in humble Godly service, inspired and forever in debt, for what Jesus gave us on the cross.

Hence, I have nothing to be proud of when I am alone.

God allowed me to flee my country, which was torn by violence, suffering, and struggles. I found myself in Zimbabwe. My vision started in Tongogara Refugee Camp, in the district of Chipinge in Manicaland province.

The drive for this vision of Samaritan Ministry comes from witnessing the pain, suffering, and injustice of others, and personally experiencing it all from childhood. The dream started in 2010. The dream was ‘Hope.’ By the grace of God, the Hope expanded and rolled out into ten countries, including Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa, Malawi , Zambia, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and is still rolling and building momentum.

I have much to be grateful for, and God has used me well in the expansion of His will, and the provision of all the hands needed for the various plantings. I appreciate and give thanks to everyone who has joined me. You are blessed as I am.

I pray and ask every good-hearted person of every tongue, country, and community, to join hands to help our friends, relatives, and all people who are in struggle and suffering. May their suffering come to a beneficial end, may they always know the love of Jesus is with them, and may they restore to goodness.

I believe for sure that God will provide for and expand His vision through me, and it will ever increasingly thread into the hearts and lives of those that are touched by Him. Those that need His Hope.
